Lasagna Pasta
2.25 lb extra lean ground beef
1 box desired pasta
1 container Fat Free Cottage Cheese
Homemade Marinara sauce (see below)
Cook ground beef. Cook and drain noodles. Measure out desired amounts if keeping track of weight and amounts, then store in tupperware for future lunches/ dinners. Otherwise mix all together and enjoy!
Clean Homemade Marinara:
3 Cans of Diced Tomatoes
1 Green Bell Pepper, chopped
1 Onion, chopped
3-4 TBS minced garlic
Parsley
Basil
Oregano
Salt
Pepper
Combine all into a soup pot and bring to a boil. Let boil for 5-10 minutes then simmer with lid for 15-20. When cool enough, put in blender and blend to a sauce.
*The spices are not measured because everyone likes different amounts. If I had to guess, I would say 1 TBS Parsley, 2 TBS Basil, maybe 3 tsp Oregano. I don't like Oregano that much it is strong, so I use less of that.
*Change recipe to fit your desires.
