2 Avacados
2 sticks of celery
Cheddar Cheese
Cilantro
2 (14.5 oz) cans of diced tomatoes
6 cloves of garlic
1 1/2 lbs ground turkey
2 jalapeno peppers
1 lime
2 red bell peppers
1 medium yellow onion
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt
cooking spray (olive oil)
1. peel and dice onion, tranfer to a medium bowl. Peel and mince garlic (or used minced garlic (about 5 tsp). Add to bowl
2. Wash bell pepper, celery, and jalapeno Seed and small dice peppers. Trim and small dice celery. Seed and mince jalapenos.
3. Spray pan and sautee onions, garlic, bell pepper, celery, and jalapeno. Cook and stir frequently until softened.
4. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
5. Add chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
6. Add tomatoes and stir to combine. Cook, stirring occasionally for about 8-10 minutes.
7. Add desired cilantro to pot, and save a little for garnish.
Serve chili with desired cheese, avacado, and cut up lime wedges. (Be sure and squeeze the lime on top... it is the best part!)
